En esta tesis  se analizan los algoritmos de estimacion del estado y deteccion e identificacion de medidas erroneas empleados en la actualidad  con respecto a unos requerimientos propuestos. Se propone un nuevo algoritmo de estimacion basado en transformaciones ortogonales  cuya caracteristica fundamental es el empleo de un jacobiano constante a tramos  lo que le confiere una elevada robustez numerica y velocidad de ejecucion.  tambien se propone un algoritmo para identificacion de errores basado en los tests de hipotesis  indicandose un nuevo metodo para el calculo de la matriz de sensibilidad.
