La serigrafia artistica se inicia en 1935  sin embargo  en espa\u00f1a lo hace en 1960 con los primeros trabajos que realizan e. Sempere y a.  martin. En esta faceta artistica se generaliza con la adopcion por parte de dos corrientes estilisticas: los obstractos y geometricos y los pop o realistas; debido a que ambos utilizan un lenguaje comun  la tinta plana.  Valencia se ha convertido en un importante foco de produccion de serigrafias artisticas al coincidir un nucleo de artistas con el taller ibero-suiza (ampliado con otros prolificos estampadores). El  corpus  del trabajo se centra en la obra realizada durante estos 20 a\u00f1os (1965-1985)  analizando la evolucion estilistica y tecnica de las obras realizadas. Otra faceta reflejada es la participacion de los galeristas y editores.
