Inmaculada <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Los frutos de ammi visnaga (l.) Lamarck (apiaceae) presentan actividad vasodilatadora coronaria y perif\u00e9rica y se han empleado tradicionalmente para el tratamiento de la cardiopatia isqu\u00e9mica y como agentes antiespasm\u00f3dicos. los principales activos activos extraidos de estos frutos incluyen la kelina, visnagina y visnadina.  el objeto de esta tesis doctoral es profundizar en los efectos vasculares y cardiacos de la visnadina y en los mecanismos implicados en estos efectos, especialmente en su posible interferencia con los procesos que regulan la homeostasis del calcio. Para ello sehan realizado experimentos in vitro utilizando como preparaciones vasculares la aorta y la vena porta aisladas de rata, y como tejido cardiaco, la aur\u00edcula izquierda y derecha montadas separadamente, procedentes tambi\u00e9n de rata.  resultados  1. Efectos vasculares  la visnadina, a concentraciones menores de 10-5 m, inhibi\u00f3 selectivamente la contracciones inducidas por despolarizaci\u00f3n con kc1 80 mm y por el incremento de la concentraci\u00f3n de ca2+ extracelular en la aorta despolarizada con kc1, asi como la actividad miog\u00e9nica espont\u00e1nea de la vena porta.  a concentraciones mayores, la visnadina tambi\u00e9n inhibi\u00f3 las respuestas contr\u00e1ctiles inducidas por na y pma, siendo equipotente para inhibir las contracciones inducidas por na en aortas incubadas en un medio con o sin ca2+ y las contracciones inducidas por pma.  2. Efectos cardiacos  en aur\u00edcula derecha de rata, la visnadina produce una disminuci\u00f3n dependiente de la concentraci\u00f3n de la frecuencia sinusal y prolongada el trns. Tambi\u00e9n produce un incremento de la contractilidad auricular de forma paralelo al descenso de la frecuencia.  en auricula izquierda de rata estimulada electricamente a una frecuencia de 1 hz, la visnadina produjo una depresi\u00f3n, dependiente de la contractilidad, de la contractilidad auricular.
