Una segunda etapa supone la utilizacion de los catalizadores seleccionados en la reduccion de dobles enlaces en fase gaseosa  por transferencia  y en la desproteccion de peptidos  en fase liquida  utilizando ciclohexeno como dador.  en cada etapa se han cubierto estudios cineticos y en algunos casos  se propone un mecanismo de reaccion que justifica  razonablemente  los resultados
