Carmen <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se reinvestiga la acetilacion del fenantreno y del 9-clorofenantreno  determinando condiciones para las distribuciones extremas de las aril-metil-cetonas:  (2-fenantil  3-fenantil  9-fenantil y 9-clavo-3-fenantril). A partir de estas se obtienen los correspondientes acidos arilaceticos por reaccion de willgerodt y por oxitaliacion. Se efectua tambien la clorometilaciondel fenantreno  obteniendo con buen rendimiento el 9-clorometilderivado  util en la obtencion de derivados de 9-fenantrido. Las cuatro aril-metil-cetonas anteriores  por la ruta; alcohol; cloruro; nitrilo; acido condujeron a los correspondientes acidos arilpropanoicos. Tambien se obtuvieron estos por alquilacion directa de los acidos arilaceticos. Los diversos acidos arilalcanoicos y compuestos intermedios en la sintesis se caracterizaron por ir y rmn. En algunos casos  ademas por e.M.
