Subesp.  occitanomys adroveri  hispanomys freudenthali y prolagus crusafonti en canteras de jun. Se estudia la forma mas antigua del gen. Stephanomys: s.Cf. Stadii y se reconoce el origen iberico de este genero. Stephanomys aff.  ramblensis de los yacimientos granadinos cubre el espacio evolutivo entre s. Ramblensis y s. Donnezani cordii. Se reconoce a paraethomys cf. Miocaenicus una posicion filogenetica intermedia entre p. Miocaenicus y p. Cf.  jaegeri de la depresion de granada. Prolagus crusafonti retrocede en el tiempo a la zona 12 mein (mn 12).
