doctoral establece el modelo de poblamiento  tanto rural como urbano  de la zona septentrional de la provincia de malaga que se engloba dentro del area geografica natural del surco intrabetico.  contiene el trabajo un estudio pormemorizado de las fuentes literarias antiguas y de las arqueologicas de todo el sector con base en lo que posteriormente se analizan los nucleos urbanos existentes y la implantacion rural desde un punto de vista politico  social y economico  tendente al establecimiento de una demografia cualitativa y de una distribucion de la poblacion que se resume en una
