En efecto, la adscripci\u00f3n de s\u00e9neca a una corrietne filos\u00f3fica de vocaci\u00f3n totalizadora y marcadamente moralista como es el estoicismo ha mediatizado su interpretaci\u00f3n del mito de jas\u00f3n y medea y dado lugar a una nueva forma de drama que ha sido considerada como precursora del melodrma moderno.  tal y como evidencian los tratados filos\u00f3ficos de s\u00e9neca, la reflexi\u00f3n moral acerca de la conducta humana constituye uno de los ejes fundamentales, si no el m\u00e1s importante, de su pensamiento. As\u00ed, el comportamiento del hombre ante aquello que le sobrevien por mor de la casualidad providencial adelta su categor\u00eda moral,pues revela supercepci\u00f3n del mundo y su comprensi\u00f3n de las relaciones humans.  s\u00e9neca traza en su tragedia un cuadro vivencial que es reflejo de su propia realidad: un mundo habitado por la estulticia en el que las relaciones de convivencia se hallan viciadas pro el gobierno de las pasiones en sus m\u00e1s diversos grados.  las pasiones constituyen,por tanto, el centro de la tragedia. Ahora bien, dichas pasiones se expresan a trav\u00e9s de la ret\u00f3rica de la palbara y del cuerpo que informa la actuaci\u00f3n de los personajes e igualmente determinan, por medio de su protagonista, la ordenaci\u00f3n r\u00edtmica y estructural de la totalidad de la tragedia. La comparaci\u00f3n con la medea de eur\u00edpides, \u00fanica tragedia de este t\u00edtulo conservada y fuente reconocida de la senequiana, permite deslindar la diferente concepci\u00f3n del relato m\u00edtico en cuesti\u00f3n y ahondar en aquellos aspectos que dotan de especificidad de la tragedia de s\u00e9neca.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
