Cervisiae es consecuencia de la accion de al menos dos proteinas actuando simultaneamente sobre el mismo tipo de sustratos sinteticos. Estos dos enzimas son la dipeptidil aminopeptidasa ysc iv y la dipeptidil aminopeptidasa ysc v  y han sido los primeros enzimas proteoliticos ligados a membranas encontrados en esta levadura.  en este trabajo se han localizado intracelularmente ambas actividades encontrandose que la dipeptidil aminopeptidasa ysc iv se encuentra asociada con la membrana plasmatica  mientras que la dipeptidil aminopeptidasa yscv esta ubicada en la membrana vacuolar.  asi mismo  se ha realizado una caracterizacion cinetica de este ultimo una vez purificado a homogeneidad.
