En este trabajo  se estudia la interaccion entre el ca y el ampc encontrandose que la adenilato ciclasa es modulada bifasicamente por concentraciones intracelulares fisiologicas de ca en presencia de calmodulina mientras que la fosfodiesterasa es insensible a estos agentes. Por otra parte  se demuestra la presencia de protein quinasa c en los enterocitos asi como la liberacion de ca del reticulo endoplasmico por ip sub 3. Esto sugiere que el mecanismo recientemente descubierto de transduccion de se\u00f1al mediado por fosfoinositidos puede operar tambien en los enterocitos. Este podria ser el modo por el cual agentes como la acetilcolina o la serotonina cuya accion parece estar mediada por ca  ejercieran su efecto estimulador de la secrecion intestinal. Asimismo  tambien se demuestra que los enterocitos obtenidos por tratamiento del intestino con edta tienen su membrana plasmatica permeabilizada lo que permitio estudiar la acumulacion de ca en los
