Se relaciona la radionovela con otras expresiones de literaturas subalternas y generos menores:  el comic, la cancion popular, los  pulps  etc., concluyendo que el serial radiofonico seria, en primer lugar, la prolongacion de los folletines del xix, luego, de todos esos generos de gran tirada, a los que el serial radiofonico -dando o tomando el relevo- acompa\u00f1o en su momento.  se hace historia de la radionovela espa\u00f1ola, en el marco sociopolitico en el que se desarrollo, concluyendo que hay determinados arquetipos de comportamiento de los que la radionovela fue valedora, y que se corresponden con el aparato ideologico dominante.  el estudio se centra de modo pormenorizado en un grupo de radionovelas que tipifican generos concretos: la propagandistica y de exaltacion de los valores del movimiento (lo que no muere); el folletin y el melodrama (ama rosa); la radiocomedia costumbrista (matilde, perico y periquin); la novela de aventuras (dos hombres buenos); y el serial de tema policiaco (el criminal nunca gana).  el estudio contempla -en esos cinco bloques- aspectos que tienen que ver con la narrativa y contenidos, el estilo, y los modos de produccion: dimensiones
