El transporte de d-adenosina y uridina presenta una cinetica de michaelismenten en las dos preparaciones estudiadas. Por el contrario, el transporte de l-adenosina se ajusta a una cinetica sigmoidea, tanto en celulas cromafines en cultivo como en vesiculas de membrana plasmatica, con una marcada cooperatividad positiva. El transportador de nucleosidos presenta cooperatividad cinetica y alosterica entre sus subunidades, que se refleja en el elevado indice de hill (4,9). En las vesiculas de membrana plasmatica el transportador ha perdido cooperatividad cinetica, observandose unicamente la cooperatividad alosterica entre las dos subunidades del transportador. Esta cooperatividad se pone de manifiesto tanto en los experimentos de transporte con l-adenosina, como en experimentos de union de nbti. Tambien en este trabajo se pone de manifiesto la existencia de un sitio de union de nucleotidos en el transportador de nucleosidos.
