El objetivo del mismo es:  1,- caracterizar la granulometr\u00eda de equilibrio existente en una playa natural sometida a la acci\u00f3n del oleaje.  2,- estudiar la evoluci\u00f3n de la granulometr\u00eda de una playa regenerada con un material de aportaci\u00f3n diferente al existente en la playa natural.  en primer lugar se ha demostrado que la funci\u00f3n de distribuci\u00f3n de una arena sometida a una din\u00e1mica turbulenta gen\u00e9rica es log-normal y en particular en el caso de la arena de una playa sometida al oleaje. En segundo lugar se ha expuesto un modelo te\u00f3rico-emp\u00edrico del comportamiento de la funci\u00f3n de distribuci\u00f3n de los tama\u00f1os de los granos de componente la arena de la playa. Se ha expuesto cual es la garnulometr\u00eda de equilibrio y como evolucionan los par\u00e1metros que definen esta funci\u00f3n de distribuci\u00f3n cuando se rompe el equilibrio.Para la comprobaci\u00f3n y validaci\u00f3n del modelo te\u00f3rico se han analizado m\u00e1s de 3000 muestras granulom\u00e9tricas de 31 playas espa\u00f1olas, como tambi\u00e9n los datos de las boyas (rom 0.3-91), las cuales se han utilizado para caracterizar el oleaje local. A partir de esta informaci\u00f3n se ha obtendio emp\u00edricamente una relaci\u00f3n entre el clima mar\u00edtimo y la distribuci\u00f3n de equilibrio analizando los datos de 22 playas en las distintas \u00e1reas. Finalmente, partiendo del modelo te\u00f3rico se analiza la funci\u00f3n de distribuci\u00f3n de la granulometr\u00eda de equilibrio en una playa tras una regeneraci\u00f3n, evaluando las p\u00e9rdidas que se producen.
