A destacar la cuantificacion de la silice biogenica y del contenido en caco3con el autoanalizador leco cc100.  el 60% del tg-7 es carbonato calcico (valor promedio). El registro de sus fluctuaciones no sigue los patrones ecuatoriales, sino que presenta un minimo expandido en el evento b-3, ausencia de disolucion en el brunhes medio y una importante amplitud en los glaciares y entre los ciclos glaciares-interglaciares, como corresponde a testigos del este del pacifico ecuatorial afectados por la corriente de peru. Los maximos y minimos se han estudiado en terminos de productividad y preservacion del carbonato.  el contenido de silice biogeica que presenta es bajo (promedio 2.68%)  el estudio comparativo de los registros de productividad (carbonato, opalo y bario normalizado) no son correlacionables entre si.  el analisis de la se\u00f1al terrigena sugiere su origen fluvial y eolico. Considerando como indicador e\u00f3lico el contenido en particulas silicicas (barcena, 1999), se ha determinado una mayor actividad atmosferica en los estadios isotopicos 3,5 y 7.
