Dicho m\u00e9todo de preconcentraci\u00f3n se basa en la retenci\u00f3n selectiva en medio sulf\u00farico de la especie tbt usando una resina quelatante (amberlita xad-2) modificada con tropolona y posterior eluci\u00f3n con ibmc.  as\u00ed mismo, se optimizan m\u00e9todos de extracci\u00f3n de las especies butiladas de esta\u00f1o (tbt, dbt y mbt) a partir de sedimentos marinos, utilizando la energ\u00eda de microondas (64 w de potencia durante 2 minutos) para acelerar dicho proceso de extracci\u00f3n.
