Para ello se han empleado tecnicas de caracterizacion bioquimica (determinaci\u00f3n de proteinas, electroforesis en gel de poliacrilamida en presencia de sds y determinacion de actividades enzim\u00e1ticas) e inmunoqu\u00edmicas (inmunotransferencia, elisa, elisa-inhibici\u00f3n e inmunotransferencia-inhibici\u00f3n).  para la obtenci\u00f3n del ant\u00edgeno de excreci\u00f3n secreci\u00f3n los protoesc\u00f3lex del parasito fueron mantenidos en un medio desarrollado en nuestro laboratorio. se estudiaron tanto la supervivencia de los mismos como su producci\u00f3n de proteinas a lo largo de todo el periodo de mantenimiento.  en los estudios de caracterizaci\u00f3n inmunoqu\u00edmica el extracto antigenico de excreci\u00f3n-secreci\u00f3n fue comparado con los extractos antigenicos somatico de protoescolex y de liquido hidat\u00eddico, ambos tambien de e.Granulosus.  los resultados obtenidos m\u00e1s relevantes se enumeran a continuaci\u00f3n:  1. El medio desarrollado en nuestro laboratorio para el mantenimiento de protoescol\u00e9x de e.Granulosus permite la obtenci\u00f3n de ant\u00edgenos de excreci\u00f3n-secreci\u00f3n de elevada pureza.  2. La fase \u00f3ptima para la consecuci\u00f3n de estos ant\u00edgenos es la correspondientes a las pirmeras 50 horas de mantenimiento delos protoescolex.  3. La composici\u00f3n proteica del antigeno de excrecion-secreci\u00f3n no muestra diferencias ni entre protoescolex de procedencia hepatica ni entre protoescolex tratados\/no tratados con pepsina.  4. El ant\u00edgeno de excrecion-secreci\u00f3n posee enzimas con actividad fosfatasa, lipasa y glucosidasa, pero no se ha detectado actividad proteasa.  5. Para el serodiagn\u00f3stico de la hidatidosis humana mediante elisa el ant\u00edgeno somatico es el extracto que proporciona una mayor sensibi<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
