En los tres dispositivos de cultivo se ha evaluado el comportamiento fluidodin\u00e1mico, la dispersi\u00f3n axial, la mezcla y la transferencia, as\u00ed como su uso potencial para el cultivo masivo de microalgas.  se estudi\u00f3 la influencia que la velocidad superficial del gas ejerce en la faracci\u00f3n de gas retenido y la velocidad del l\u00edquido y la influencia que estas variables ejerc\u00edan en la mezcla axial y la transferencia de materia.  se ha puesto a putno un sistema actinom\u00e9trico para determinar el flujo fot\u00f3nico fotosint\u00e9tico incidente y se han contrastado las medidas obtendias con sensores con dicho m\u00e9todo.  los cultivos en modo discontinuo han servido para determinar la velocidad espec\u00edfica de crecimiento y la influencia que, sobre la misma, ejerce el dise\u00f1o interno de los fotobiorreactores.  la microalga phaeodactylum tricornutum se mostr\u00f3 sensible al estr\u00e9s hidrodin\u00e1mico y la muerte celular se  manifest\u00f3 a bajas velocidades superficiales del gas. La adici\u00f3n de un compuesto protector, la carboxi-metil celulosa (cmc), ha permitido realizar cultivos estables a moderadas velocidades superficiales del gas.  en la oepraci\u00f3n en continuo, en condiciones externas, con iluminaci\u00f3n natural, se ha obtenido una productividad diaria m\u00e1xima de biomasa muy similar en los tres fotobiorreactores.  la evoluci\u00f3n diaria de la concentraci\u00f3n de biomasa, generaci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno, contenido en pigmentos y sustancias de reserva ha coincidido con la evoluci\u00f3n diaria de la irradiancia interna. La biomasa obtendia ha presentado altos contenidos en pigmentos y en \u00e1cido eicosapentaenoico (epa), propio de cultivos fotolimitados.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
