Estos fen\u00f3menos causan serias distorsiones en las respuestas impidiendo su correcta interpretaci\u00f3n. En el caso de la distorsi\u00f3n galv\u00e1nica se ha dise\u00f1ado un algoritmo de inversi\u00f3n de datos electromagn\u00e9ticos en el que se tienen en cuenta tres matrices de distorsi\u00f3n que representan las contribuciones locales causadas por las heterogeneidades superficiales. Este algoritmo se ha utilizado con datos fuertemente distorsionados de terranova que no hab\u00edan podido ser interpretados con anterioridad, obteni\u00e9ndose el modelo regional de resistividades y los par\u00e1metros de distorsi\u00f3n galv\u00e1nica. Para eliminar los efectos del ruido coherente se ha dise\u00f1ado un esquema de procesado que mediante una ponderaci\u00f3n de aquellos segmentos m\u00e1s contaminados, tanto en el canal el\u00e9ctrico como en el magn\u00e9tico, permite obtener respuestas no contaminadas. esta metodolog\u00eda ha sido aplicada a un perfil de magnetotel\u00farica del norte de la provincia de saskatchewan que result\u00f3 muy afectado por un sistema de corrientes de electrojet y episodios de auroras boreales. Se han obtenido las respuestas no contaminadas y de ellas el modelo regional bidimensional de distribuci\u00f3n de resistividades.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
