<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Con arreglo a los objetivos planteados, en la presente tesis se ha llegado a las siguientes conclusiones: 1.- estudio de la expresion del gen del vip en celulas linfoides de rata: el gen del vip se expresa en diferentes subpoblaciones de linfocitos de los organos linfoides centrales y perifericos. 2.- Estudio de la expresion y caracterizacion de los receptores de vip y pacap en celulas del sistema inmune: los timocitos, linfocitos t y b de ganglios linfaticos y macrofagos peritoneales de rata expresan el arnm del receptor de vip tipo 1. 3.- Efecto del vip y pacap en la adherencia y mobilidad de los linfocitos y en la funcion fagocitica de macrofagos peritoneales: el vip y el pacap estimulan todas las etapas de la funcion fagocitica de macrofagos peritoneales de rata y la adherencia de linfocitos peritoneales e inhiben la mobilidad de los timocitos, esplenocitos y linfocitos peritoneales. 4.- Efecto del vip y pacap en la apoptosis de timocitos de rata inducida por glucocorticoides: el vip y el pacap protegen a los timocitos doble positivos de la apoptosis inducida por glucocorticoides a traves de su union al receptor de vip tipo 1 presente en la membrana de estos timocitos.De todos los resultados expuestos en este trabajo de investigacion podemos concluir que el vip y el pacap son dos peptidos presentes en el sistema inmune que mediante la interaccion con sus receptores modulan in vitro funciones como diferenciacion de timocitos, funcion fagocitica y mobilidad de macrofagos y linfocitos, y por ultimo la aoppoptosis de timocitos de
