Entre las diversas tecnicas consideradas para el tratamiento de estos residuos ganaderos, con el fin de reducir en lo posible su efecto contaminante sobre el medio ambiente, la digestion anaerobia ha llegado a ser una de las tecnolog\u00edas potencialmente mas eficaces y rentables.  por lo tanto, el primer paso es la caracterizacion del residuo que va a ser digerido, haciendole una serie de analisis previos. Luego se ha llevado a cabo el estudio de las variables que influyen en el proceso. Este estudio experimental pretende conocer en que forma afectan al proceso de digestion anaerobia algunas de estas variables. A continuacion se ha llevado a cabo el proceso de digestion anaerobia de los residuos ganaderos vacunos, se ha pasado al estudio de la influencia sobre el proceso de tres variables de tipo operativo: presencia de agitacion en los digestores, concentracion de solidos en el sustrato y tiempo de retencion.  por ultimo, se ha abordado la tarea de proponer un modelo cinetico para la digestion anaerobia. Para el desarrollo experimental, se han utilizado los mismos digestores descritos anteriormente. Sin embargo en esta ocasion la operacion se ha llevado a acabo en discontinuo, trabajandose en las condiciones optimas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
