Se efectua una amplia revision bibliografica sobre la embriogenesis cardiaca desde 1924 hasta nuestros dias. El material utilizado en la investigacion son embriones de codorniz y de pollo, dador y receptor, respectivamente, de edades distintas. En el metodo empleado, es la primera vez que se realiza la extirpacion de areas endomesodermicas prospectivas cardiacas y se injertan en receptores de especiedistinta a niveles distintos a la vez que distantes de la topografia cardiaca, es tambien original el injerto de premesodermo con significacion prospectiva a corazon en cavidad celomica. Se operaron 150 embriones, analizados 6 ejemplares tipo, representativos del resto. Tras contrastar nuestras observaciones con las publicadas, clasicas y actuales, se analizan dos factores, caracteristicas, propiedades de los injertos y su capacidas en la adquisicion de la forma y estructura tipica de corazon. Concluimos que las areas endomesodermicas del estadio iv, iv+ de z son cardioformadoras, obteniendo tubo cardiaco constantemente incurvado por propiedad intrinseca de este, con endo, mio y epicardio,
