La raza frisona por su condicion cosmopolita fue utilizada para estudios comparativos. Los microsatelites utilizados son: ilstso13, ilsts002, ilsts005, brribo, bovtau, bola-drb3 y cyp-21, que han sido amplificados mediante la tecnica de la pcr. Se estudio el polimorfismo en los distintos loci para cada una de las razas en terminos de numero de alelos, heterocigosidad y valor pic. Tambien se evaluo a partir de las frecuencias alelicas observadas el grado de diferenciacion interracial.
