Victoria <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El objetivo principal de este trabajo es conocer como la broncoconstriccion afecta al mezclado de gases en la periferia del pulmon en ratas. Es conocido que, durante la respiracion el gas inspirado no se homogeniza completamente con el gas alveolar residente, de manera que durante la espiracion se obtiene una pendiente en la fase del trazado espiratorio correspondiente a la concentracion del gas alveolar (fase iii). Aunque en humanos existen diferentes factores que afectan a la genesis de la fase iii, en ratas post mortem solo influyen las heterogeneidades intrarregionales dependientes de mecanismos convectivos y difusivos.  utilizando gases de distinta densidad, podremos estudiar como se altera la distribucion de la ventilacion en la periferia del pulmon. Asi pues, estudiamos el mezclado intrapulmonar de gases en tres modelos de broncoconstriccion: un modelo de sensibilizacion aguda.  en estos modelos obtuvimos que la sensibilizacion cronica no modificaba significativamente la distribucion de la ventilacion, pero si estos animales inhalaban metacolina se obtenia una respuesta broncoconstrictora estable que alteraba la distribucion de la ventilacion tanto a nivel central como periferico.
