Este estudio se realizo empleando la absorcion la adsorcion como tecnicas supuestamente validas para dicha eliminacion.  inicialmente, se comprobo que ambas tecnicas eran validas para eliminar acido acetico, y se eligieron los disolventes y adsorbentes mas adecuados para llevarlas a cabo. A continuacion, y dentro del estudio de la absorcion, se obtuvieron parametros cineticos (coefic. De transferencia de materia) y se desarrollo un modelo de simulacion, comprobandose que los resultados experimentales y predichos por el modelo son suficientemente aproximados. Seguidamente, y dentro del estudio de adosrcion, se obtuvieron los datos de equilibrio de los componentes pureos y de las mezclas que forman. Ademas, se desarrollaron una serie de modelos matematicos que permiten la obtencion de parametros cineticos tanto para los compuestos pureos como para las mezclas binarias.
