Se han realizado experimentos en lechos fluidizados de distinta geometria, con arena de dos tipos, fluidizados con aire y con distribuidores porosos y orificio unico. Se han desarrollado algoritmos para calcular: maximo exponente de liapunov, dimension del atractor, coeficiente de autocorrelacion, atractores y espectros de frecuencias. Se ha elaborado un indice de caos globalizado que permite dar un valor al grado de caos bajo diferentes regimenes de fluidizacion. Se han supuesto dos posibles origenes de caos: la dinamica de la formacion de burbujas en orificios y la dinamica del lecho considerado en su conjunto. Se han evaluado relaciones no lineales entre elementos del lecho y mecanismos complejos de autorregulacion dentro del lecho.  se han elaborado modelos simples de simulacion por ordenador que dan lugar
