El tratamiento recupera la mayor parte de la lignina y da lugar a un precipitado facil de filtrar.  se consigue tambien un filtrado del que se ha eliminado la mayor parte de la carga contaminante.  el precipitado obtenido se oxido en medio alcalino para obtener compuestos fenolicos de interes industrial.  nitrobenceno, oxido de cobre (ii) y oxigeno (solo o en presencia de catalizador) fueron los oxidantes empleados, que dieron, respectivamente, rendimientos en aldehidos (vainillina mas aldehido siringico) de 14%, 7% y 5%. Las variables estudiadas fueron: temperatura, tiempo de reaccion y cantidad de oxidante. Los rendimientos alcanzados son superiores a los de las alcali-ligninas recuperadas por otros procedimientos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
