Esto ultimo implica el caracter regional que dichas alteraciones representan en la oncogenesis de los tumores vesicales, al no extenderse a toda la masa celular, concordando con la hipotesis de \u00abcambio de campo\u00bb.  en el seguimiento de pacientes con tumores vesicales superficiales de alto riesgo se ha apreciado la progresion a tumor infiltrante en dos casos en los que no se demostro heteroduplex en los tejidos correspondientes.  esta circunstancia puede ser debida a las propias limitaciones de la tecnica que no detecta mutaciones en el 15-20% de los casos.  la electroforesis en gradiente de temperatura permite ser utilizada como una tecnica rapida de screening de mutaciones en tumores vesicales, por su rapidez de ejecucion y el uso de la tincion de plata para la visualizacion de las bandas obviando el marcaje radiactivo que se realiza en la conformacion polimorfica de hebra unica posterior a la reaccion en cadena de la
