Las formulas empiricas corresponden a zr0.75ti0.25(hpo4)2-x (c6h5po3)x, donde x varia entre 0.5 y 1.8. En los fosfatos-fosfonatos preparados se han intercalado los oligomeros obtenidos por hidrolisis del 3- aminopropiltrietoxisilano que tras calcinacion originan solidos pilareados con sio2. Con el objeto de disponer de pilares de alta acidez se han sintetizado pilares mixtos de sio2\/al2o3, a partir de la hidrolisis simultanea de 3-aminopropiltrietoxisilano y diisopropoxido 2-4 pentadionato de aluminio en metanol. La espectroscopia xps revela que el aluminio presenta una coordinacion tetraedrica.  se han estudiado las propiedades acidas de los materiales pilareados con sio2-al2o3 siendo esta acidez efectiva en la deshidratacion del isopropanol, y muy selectiva hacia la formacion de propeno.  como soportes de niquel metalico se han utilizado dos fosfatos pilareados con sio2, en los que el metal se ha introducido por impregnacion y en diferentes concentraciones.
