Es un momento en el que van a coincidir los dos autores dramaticos espa\u00f1oles mas importantes del siglo xx: valle-inclan y garcia lorca. El cinematografo ya se ha conformado como una poderosa industria que, como manifestacion artistica, contribuira al desalojo de espectadores de las salas de teatro.  frente al desarrollo tecnico que supone la llegada del sonoro a las pantallas, en los escenarios espa\u00f1oles, por ejemplo, continuan alumbrando los viejos sistemas instalados en la embocadura. Pero estas circunstancias no alteraron para nada, una formula teatral que data de antes del comienzo del siglo xx y que consagra en los escenarios a autores como mu\u00f1oz seca, los hermanos alvarez quintero o jacinto benavente. El teatro que se puede ver en murcia en esta epoca, es el que traen las compa\u00f1ias que salen de gira, y coincide con el exito de la cartelera madrile\u00f1a, es decir, el encabezado por los autores mencionados, con mu\u00f1oz seca a la cabeza. En el otro extremo esta el teatro de ruptura defendido por gran parte de la critica, caracterizado por su calidad literaria y dramaturgica, pero su ausencia de los escenarios nacionales, y murcianos particularmente, se hace evidente a la hora de revisar la cartelera.  murcia, en el ambito de la creacion teatral va a tener una incidencia nula en el panorama nacional, situandose en el plano de la recepcion mas que en el de la creacion generativa de espectaculos, incluso los autores murcianos de la epoca no figuran en el repertorio de las compa\u00f1ias
