Su sobre-expresion tiene lugar en aproximadamente el 40% de los carcinomas de mama, aunque solamente el 2% de los casos es debida a la amplificacion del gen.  hemos evaluado una tecnica de radioligando para la determinacion del egfr y hemos estudiado su comportamiento en el cancer de mama relacionandolo con parametros clinico-biologicos como: re, rp, ps2, catepsina d, neu, acido hialuronico, activador del plasminogeno tipo tisular, citoqueratina 19 (cyfra 21.1), edad, estado menopausico, tama\u00f1o del tumor, grado histologico, ploidia y fase s del ciclo celular.  estudiamos el comportamiento del egfr en patolog\u00edas benignas y malignas consideradas globalmente y establecimos grupos de pacientes de acuerdo a la positividad o negatividad de los re, afectacion axilar
