Luz <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Los reguladores del crecimiento vegetal, y en particular auxinas y citoquininas, controlan el desarrollo de las plantas y la morfogenesis en tejidos vegetales cultivados in vitro. En relacion con esta ultima funcion, la formacion de callo en el extremo basal de peciolos de kiwi cultivados, asi como la induccion y desarrollo de tallos sobre estos callos (caulogenesis indirecta) estuvo controlada por los reguladores aplicados al medio de cultivo (acido naftalenacetico, ana, y benciladenina, ba) y por las fitohormonas naturales. Existio una respuesta diferencial de los extremos basal y apical de los peciolos, relacionada con balances auxina\/citoquinina endogenos distintos y con el diferente grado de madurez de las celulas. En los callos, los procesos de crecimiento y manifestacion caulogenica compitieron entre si, dando lugar a dos lineas (denominadas a y b) con diferencias en respuesta in vitro y en crecimiento. El mayor crecimiento de la linea b se asocio a una elevada absorcion y a altos contenidos endogenos de ana. El menor crecimiento y las respuestas caulogenicas en la linea a se relacionaron con una elevada absorcion de ba y con altos contenidos endogenos de citoquininas. Asi, el balance entre la absorcion, metabolismo y contenido en auxinas y citoquininas determino el comportamiento de los callos.  las tasas de absorcion de ana y ba en peciolos y callos fueron proporcionales a las concentraciones aplicadas al medio.
