tesis evalua la vida a fatiga de rodadura de bolas de acero aisi 52100 con lubricacion mediante aceites minerales y sinteticos, en base a ensayos normalizados segun ip-300, en la maquina de cuatro bolas.Se elaboran las graficas weisbull para estimar la duracion de vida estandar l10, l50, lm y, para cada carga, obteniendose las curvas s-n.Por otra parte se estudia el fenomeno de fatiga en funcion de la lubricacion, que depende del espesor de pelicula, el coeficiente presion-viscosidad y la rugosidad.A la vez se relacionan los resultados de los ensayos con la influencia del tipo de familia de aceite, la viscosidad, el regimen de lubricacion y los mecanismos de fallo del material, mediante analisis sem y eds.Finalmente se establece una comparacion global entre los aceites
