El crecimiento de esta cepa en medio salino indico una muy buena tolerancia.  los efectos del aluminio sobre las especies de c.  cuninghamiana y c. Equisetifolia fueron siempre muchos mas acusados en estas segunda especie tanto en su crecimiento como en la contenido mineral de su tejidos.  el aluminio mostro efectos negativos concentraciones sobre la nodulacion c. Cunighamiana y en menor medida sobre el proceso de fijacion simbiotica del nitrogeno.  por ultimo se describe un ensayo para determinar el efecto de la salinidad sobre la nodulacion y fijacion simbiotica de nitrogeno en c. Cuninghamiana. La aplicacion de nitrogeno cominado al medio de cultivo mejoro la tolerancia de dicha especie a la sal.  el proceso de nodulacion no fue seriamente afectado por la presencia de
