En el primero, de caracter general, se expone una serie de consideraciones terminologicas y metodologicas.  el segundo es un estudio de la puntuacion en los once codices de los ovidiana que se conservan en la bibliotheque nationale de france, que datan de los siglos xiii al xv. Este estudio auna tres vias de analisis: la reflexion filologica sobre las variantes de puntuacion y su importancia en la edicion de los textos, el analisis linguistico de la puntuacion y las consideraciones de tipo antropologico sobre la historia de la lectura. En el tercero y cuarto, de tipo estilistico y narratologico, se analizan la presencia del estilo oraly la historia de la difusion oral en esta literatura culta del siglo
