Se presenta el comportamiento a la pasividad y corrosion del titanio y sus aleaciones en disoluciones acidas, asi como basicas y neutras, determinando el mejor material para cada medio asi como el mecanismo de la corrosion. Se ha realizado un estudio comparativo de varios partidas de aceros para armaduras hormigon, previo a su montaje, para mostrar que esta tecnica puede ser utilizada como una tecnica predictiva para establecer si el material a su llegada al destino, esta o no en condiciones de pasivarse. Se han estudiado varios pigmentos en unas pinturas de base alquidica, estableciendo el tiempo de rotura, la incorporacion del agua al revestimiento y la fraccion de area decapada en cada caso.
