Se ha estudiado en una primera etapa la representacion funcional de la carta de presiones. Esto permitio abordar la interpolacion temporal entre dos situaciones sinopticas.  se utilizaron los datos del sensor hirs, suministrado por los satelites noaa de orbita polar, obteniendose las temperaturas de brillo a partir de las cuales se quiere estudiar la posibilidad de obtener la presion en superficie.  se escogio el metodo de regresion multivariada por su simplicidad y para su implementacion operativa en el programa de desarrollo del laboratorio de comunicaciones y teledetecciones de la universidad de la laguna.  como resultado de lo anterior se obtuvieron las topografias
