Se preven a lo largo de los colectores principales puntos de alivio, cuya frecuencia y cantidad bien condicionada por las exigencias de calidad de las aguas receptores. En las zonas costeras tienen especial importancia las exigencias de calidad para las aguas de ba\u00f1o.  en este trabajo se propone una metodolog\u00eda a emplear para el caso de dise\u00f1o de redes de saneamiento bajo condiciones ambientales, consiste en el uso de redes neoronales con enlace funcional optimizado, donde el enlace funcional se optimiza geneticamente para garantizar la capacidad de aproximacion de la red neuronal.
