En cuanto a las aguas, se han determinado los parametros no especificos, componentes mayoritarios, parametros indicadores de la contaminacion organica, microcontaminantes organicos minoritarios, elementos metalicos traza y aniones inorganicos minoritarios. En cuanto a los sedimentos, se han determinado diversos parametros, incluyendo un estudio sobre la especiacion de metales y de la interaccion entre aguas y sedimentos.  asimismo, se ha evaluado la claidad de las aguas para distintos usos y se han evaluado diversos indices estadisticos de calidad.
