La incorporaci\u00f3n de dichas metodolog\u00edas en las estrategias sint\u00e9ticas de los brasinosteroides se considera de gran importancia para un escalado de estos interesantes reguladores de crecimiento vegetal con vistas a una futura aplicaci\u00f3n en agricultura.  en primer lugar, la oxidaci\u00f3n de baeyer-villiger electroqu\u00edmica ha sido satisfactoriamente desarrollada sobre el substracto de referencia alcanfor.  en ambos casos, la aplicaci\u00f3n de dichas tecnolog\u00edas en substratos m\u00e1s complejos, como esteroides, no ha sido llevada a cabo de forma exitosa.  en segundo lugar, la reducci\u00f3n de cetonas alfa,beta-insaturadas ha sido desarrollada mediante la utilizaci\u00f3n de m\u00e9todos electroqu\u00edmicos.  se han obtenido diversos procesos mono y bielectr\u00f3nicos dependiendo de las condiciones utilizadas.
