Para estos modelos, se obtienen resultados de existencia de solucion global en tiempo en varios sentidos: solucion muy debil, debil y medida-valuada. Tambien se estudia la cuestion de la unicidad de solucion.  en la segunda parte se consideran tres problemas asociados al modelo de oldroyd para fluidos viscoelasticos: el problema de evolucion, el problema estacionario y el flujo de poiseuille en dominios cilindricos. Se obtienen varios resultados de existencia de soluciones para estos problemas.
