Carmen <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se ha demostrado que el grupo amino se protege frente a la oxidacion con peracidos y dioxiranos mediante la protonacion con acidos fuertes de anion no oxidable. Las alquenilaminas asi protegidas se epoxidan conduciendo a las sales de epoxialquilamonio, cuya desproteccion con k2co3 anhidro en diclorometano permite obtener los aminoepoxidos con buenos rendimientos. La estereoquimica y la velocidad del proceso esta determinada por la coordinacion por puente de hidrogeno entre la sal de amonio y el oxidante en el estado de transicion; que dirige el ataque del oxidante sobre la cara sin de la molecula y estabiliza el estado de transicion.  las alquilaminas protegidas como sales de amonio se oxidan con metil(trifluorometil)- dioxirano regioselectivamente siendo controlada la reaccion por el efecto electron atractor que ejerce el grupo amonio.
