Alrededor de 91 gev y con una luminosidad del orden de 1031 cm-2 s-1. Para ello se necesita una adecuada instrumentacion de medida de las caracteristicas de los haces. En esta tesis se describe el metodo de medida de la luminosidad con detectores de pares e+e- dispersados elasticamente (dispension bhabha) entre 2 y 4 mrad para conseguir una medida rapida. A continuacion se presenta la tecnica de medida de las funciones beta y avance de fase (que definen el tama\u00f1o del haz y describen el movimiento de las particulas) basada en la observacion de las oscilaciones betatronicas del haz durante 1000 revoluciones. Se estudia el error en la medida del avance de fase y su contribucion en la funcion beta. Se muestra el efecto de errores magneticos en cuadrupolos, de la variacion de energia y de la separacion \u00abpretzel\u00bb en la funcion beta, y la dependencia de la funcion avance de fase con la energia del haz (cromaticidad) y con la impedancia de la camara de vacio y las cavidades de rf.  los resultados obtenidos estan en buen acuerdo con los resultados de simulaciones. El desarrollo de estas tecnicas ha contribuido en la mejora de la instrumentacion del haz en lep, proporcionando el metodo de optimizacion de la luminosidad y la medida de la funcion beta por el
