A nivel ultraestructural tambien se han detectado variaciones circadianas y estacionales en el numero de estructuras sinapticas. Este trabajo se plantea en terminos de cuantificar, en condiciones ambientales naturales las variaciones circadianas y estacionales de los indices cariometricos cortico-medulares, y de las distintas poblaciones de estructuras sinapticas, para lo cual se utilizan 30 hamsters grises, mantenidos en condiciones ambientales de luminosidad y temperatura.  se concluye que existen diferencias significativas en la evolucion de los indices cariometricos entre ambas zonas, y tambien en el numero de las diferentes poblaciones de cuerpos sinapticos a lo largo de las 24 h.
