Para ello se han empleado tres metodos diferentes para optimizar la eficiencia del analisis de acuerdo con la vida media de estas particulas.  se ha encontrado un candidato, compatible con la contaminacion esperada de procesos estandar. Con esto se han podido establecer los siguientes limites, al 95% de nivel de confianza, a la fraccion de desintegracion del z, en el caso de produccion simple, y a la constante  u 2:  formula, formula, en un rango de masas que va desde el umbral de produccion de un par de muones, hasta el limite cinematico de produccion de un nhl.  se ha estudiado, tambien, la posibilidad de que los nhls se manifiesten en forma de neutrinos excitados que se desintegren debilmente.
