En este trabajo se presenta un estudio acerca de la posibilidad de utilizar estos productos para el control de la plaga de la vid lobesia botrana. Se ha encontrado que estas icps presentan una elevada toxicidad frente al insecto. Ademas, se ha estudiado el mecanismo de toxicidad y se ha establecido que en el intestino medio del insecto existen sitios de union especificos para las icps activas. Tambien se ha demostrado que poblaciones de lobesia botrana tienen capacidad para desarrollar resistencia a estas icps.
