Jaume joan falco (1422-1494), lugarteniente general de la orden de montesa, es el principal poeta neolatino del renacimiento Valenciano.  los epigrammata o liber i de su operum poeticorum&#8230;  libri v son continuadores de la linea satirica de marcial y de las poesias de circunstancias de ausonio. La mayoria de temas son los propios de las poesias de circunstancias, con panegiricos y critica social; tambien encontramos poesia religiosa; y poesia de fabula, didactica y filosofica. Sus epigramas son agudos, ingeniosos y de estilo poetico muy trabajado y brillante.  su estilo renacentista esta salpicado de una evidente tendencia manierista. Sigue las lineas literarias del momento, versificando segun las influencias dominantes e influyendo, posiblemente, en poetas importantes.
