Se tiene en cuenta la concentracion de tensioactivo, modificador y ph en la fase movil. Los modelos desarrollados se evaluan con solutos de distinta naturaleza quimica, y se aplican a la determinacion de constantes de asociacion soluto-micela y de reparto con la fase estacionaria. Se examina la influencia del tiempo muerto en la prediccion de la retencion y en la obtencion de constantes fisico-quimicas. Se plantean metodos de optimizacion de la separacion de mezclas complejas de solutos, que consideran ademas de la posicion de los picos cromatograficos, su forma. Se proponen modelos gaussianos deformados para describir las se\u00f1ales cromatograficas, lo que se utiliza en el ajuste y medida de picos, simulacion de cromatogramas, suavizado de se\u00f1ales y deconvolucion de picos solapados. Se describe un paquete de programas de ordenador, desarrollado para esta tesis, que automatiza el tratamiento de la informacion cromatografica, su analisis, y la optimizacion de la
