Amparo <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se ha desarrollado un sistema de ensayo (mutoxitest) basado en cepas de escherichia coli, adecuado para la deteccion de mutaciones inducidas por lesiones oxidativas en el adn. Su aplicacion ha permitido la deteccion de dos vias diferentes por las cuales se pueden generar mutaciones en celulas sometidas a estres oxidativo. Una via seria dependiente del mecanismo mutagenico sos, generandose mutaciones como consecuencia de sitios abasicos, mayoritariamente del tipo transversiones ta-at y transiciones gc-at. El otro mecanismo de mutagenesis oxidativa seria independiente oxidativa seria independiente del sistema sos. Las mutaciones inducidaspor esta via son casi exclusivamente transversiones gc-ta, que resultarian del apareamiento erroneo de la adenina con una guanina oxidtiva.
