Luisa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Aspergillus terreus produce varias enzimas de interes para la industria agroalimentaria. Con el fin de sobreproducir alguna de ellas se han desarrollado dos sistemas de transformacion para este hongo, el primero basado en la adquisicion de resistencia al antibiotico higromicina b y el segundo basado en la complementacion de un mutante de a. Terreus deficiente en ornitina transcarbamilasa (otcasa) utilizando el gen argb de aspergillus nidulans. Se ha clonado y secuenciado el gen que codifica la otcasa en a. Terreus. La expresion de este gen se regula a nivel transcripcional y esta sometida al control general de la biosintesis de aminoacidos.  se ha clonado y secuenciado un gen de a. Terreus que codifica una glucoamilasa. La expresion de este gen se regula transcripcionalmente, esta inducida por almidon y maltosa y reprimida por glucosa y xilosa. Se han construido transformantes multicopia de a. Terreus que producen 2.5 veces mas glucoamilasa que la cepa silvestre.
