Utilizando tecnicas interferometricas y de espectroscopia pasiva, ha sido posible diagnosticar diferentes plasmas de argon y helio-argon. A partir de las evoluciones temporales de su densidad electronica y temperatura de excitacion, asi como de los parametros de las lineas espectrales por ellos emitidas (anchura a altura mitad, intensidad, etc), ha sido posible obtener, bajo las hipotesis de equilibrio termodinamico local parcial, mas de 200 valores de probabilidades de transicion de arii, asi como los coeficientes de ensanchamiento y desplazamiento stark de 14 lineas de dicha especie. Para muchas de ellas, no existian datos bibliograficos previos. Asimismo este trabajo recoge todo el aprendizaje realizado en este tiempo sobre la fuente de generacion de plasmas utilizada, las tecnicas de diagnostico empleadas, sus posibilidades, y limitaciones y
